Nautical Publications
The aim of this guide is to complement existing technical publications and rules and regulations with one that is deliberately written in a style that communicates effectively with seafarers at all levels.
The emphasis is on SAFETY. Its intention is to make shipboard staff more aware of the hazards associated with mooring equipment and mooring operations by providing a better understanding of the subject. A summary of the personal safety items mentioned throughout the text is given in Chapter 7.
