PREFACE
The Tenth Edition of Arctic Pilot Volume 2 has been prepared by Captain J E de Renzy-Martin, Master Mariner, Captain C M Berkley, MNI, Master Mariner, Commander R A Dobson, Royal Navy and Commander G D Niven Royal Navy based on the fully revised Ninth Edition (2004 ) compiled by Mr S C Mason and Mr S J Gregory, Master Mariner. The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office has used all reasonable endeavours to ensure that this Pilot contains all the appropriate information obtained and assessed by it at the date shown below. Information received or assessed after that date will be included in Admiralty Notices to Mariners where appropriate. For details of Admiralty Notices to Mariners and guidance on their use, see The Mariner's Handbook.
This edition supersedes the Ninth Edition (2004), which is cancelled.
