Rules of Navigation Suez Canal Edition December 2015. The "Suez Rules of Navigation", published by the Suez Canal Authority, is the mandatory supplement to the Suez charts SC1, SC2 and R11 and will apply to bothpaper and paperless vessels. It includes inland rules to navigation, Canal and lake characteristics, communication signals used by the Authority, tonnage and dues as well as information about the carriage of dangerous cargos while transiting the Suez Canal. After receipt, the "Suez Rules of Navigations" has to be registered by the vessel via the Canal Authority legitimation process. Information about the registration process are included in the book.
