These charts show values of g and H for each of the four main Tidal Harmonic Constituents.
The values of g give the phase lag of the constituent in DEGREES referred to the Time Zone -0400. Thus, any prediction made using these data will give the times of the tide in Zone -0400. If local time differs from Zone -0400 time the prediction must be corrected accordingly.
The values of H give the amplitude of the constituent in METRES.
Values of Tidal Harmonic Constituents for ports in the Persian Gulf are published in Admiralty Tide Tables Volume 3. Where these data are not available, values of constituents should be obtained from these charts.
