Use of this SOLAS Check List when completing the monthly inspection of Lifesaving Appliances aboard this vessel, fulfils the requirement set out by the International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 and amendments(IMO Resolution MSC.152(78) which came into force 1 July 2006)as detailed in Chapter III, Regulation 20.7 and Regulation 36.1. It will also provide a record of the weekly inspections required by Regulation 20.5.
