These tables or the mathematical relationships represented thereby may be used by anyone desiring to do so, but the American Petroleum Institute, the American Society for Testing and Materials, and the Institute of Petroleum and their respective members and the U.S. National Bureau of Standards shall not be held responsible or liable in any way for loss or damage, including, but not limited to, consequential damage, resulting from such usage or for violation of any federal, state, or municipal laws, regulations, or practices of the United States or of any foreign country.
The tables included in this volume and the subroutines from which they were generated are voluntary standards and were developed under the auspices of the Joint API/ASTM Committee on Static Petroleum Measurement in part from data generated by a project funded by the American Petroleum Institute at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
